With this ethos in mind, the group "PARAS" has come a longway, stepping into the silver jublee year of its inception. Though the commercial activities of the organization finds the primary footage, the charitable activities nevertheless have been the front runner.

Be it natural calamities such as devastating earth quake in Gujarat or Cyclone in Orissa the organisation is always at the frontline to extend help at the time of national exigency covering the length & breadth of the nation.

One wing of the charitable activities of PARAS GROUP, the trust Madhumeh Upchar Sanstha runs a dispensary in the name of D.C.JAIN CHIKITSALAY and the other wing the trust Paras Foundation runs an old age home in the name of GHARAUNDA. A socially conscious organization is engaged in a plethora of charitable activities to reach out to the socially & financially deprived people of the society. Organisation's charitable wings dedicatedly work in the educational, cultural, social, medical and professional fields both directly and also through various organizations.

PARAS FOUNDATION
It runs an old age home (Vridhashram) in the name of

"GHARAUNDA" Plot no. 482, Ashola, Fatehpur Beri Near Mehrauli New Delhi - 110 074

It is the home for aged elders who are destitutes, dejected and left out by their own dear ones. This was the brainchild of founder trustee Late Shri D.C.Jain. His dream was to have a "Home" for those parents (aged elders) who are forced out unwanted and undesired by their own children. After the unfortunate demise of Shri D.C. Jain, his sons Shri Rakesh Jain & Shri Pravesh Jain carry out the unfulfilled wishes. And with the able guidance of mother Smt. Sushila Jain, both the sons translated their fathers dream into reality in all practical senses.

The birth of "GHARAUNDA" brought rays of hope for those destitutes and homeless. It not only provides the aged destitute elders with sufficient lodging, boarding, medical and recreational facilities but also restores their self respect and love for life in a family like environment. "GHARAUNDA" believes that "Love does not cost a thing" and therefore it performs its duties free of cost. The trust Paras Foundation is all poised to make "GHARAUNDA" the best place (only after their own family and home) to attain NIRVANA (Salvation) for the aged.

Helping the aged forget their bitter past, become self-reliant and lead a happy quality life ahead through spiritual teachings, meditation and yoga is the ultimate objective of "GHARAUNDA". Trust's ultimate goal is to extend best help to the aged overcome the feeling of loneliness and feel at home.

MADHUMEH UPCHAR SANSTHA (MUS)
The trust MUS runs a charitable dispensary in the name of

The founder trustee Late Shri D.C. Jain with sheer dedication and hardwork had single handedly established the trust which has an exclusive and primary cause of providing medical aids to the poorer and under privileged classes of the society. The Chikitsalay (Dispensary) started its activity initially with Homeopathic Clinic then subsequently Dental Clinic, Pathological Lab, Eye Clinic and General Medicine (Allopathic) clinic got shaped and annexed to its activities. The dispensary presently is meeting the medical aid of atleast over 100 patients everyday regularly. The Trust aims at establishing a Nursing Home with all latest facilities with a nominal affordable charges exclusively for under privileged patients.

Today human illness is unpredictable and medical expenses are unbearable. The trust has therefore taken the initiative to reach out the poor & needy people who are suffering from illness. The dispensary provides with medical services at a very nominal affordable cost.

Besides, the trust engages itself in various other charitable & philanthropic activities such as arranging regular Pulse Polio Camps, Blood Donation Camps at the time of Nation's exigencies.

CONCLUSION

Unselfish services to the aged, patients, nation and above all the humanity through humane deeds and action is our motto. It is a monumental task but we have taken up the challenge and are committed to go full steam ahead.
